Fuel Piping Contractors in NC

    Online continuing education for Gas fitters and Fuel piping contractors in NC. These courses are professionally narated by inspectors, indusrty leaders, and instructors whom have a wealth of knowledge and experience.

  • Pipe Fitter - This course includes topics such as pipe bends, linear expansion of piping, capacities of tanks, methods of laying out angles, pipe offsets around obstructions, tank coils, and pipe welding layouts.
  • Fuel and Gas Code - This continuing education program includes information on piping, venting, equipment installation, definitions, gaseous hydrogen systems, and specific appliances.
  • Pipe Sizing - The subject matter will cover the design of piping systems for gas flow, pressure drops, pipe material, length of piping, delivery pressure, and a review of fomulas listed in the National Fuel Gas Code, NFPA 54.

    These are the current requirements for renewing your North Carolina Fuel Piping contractor license. We will always provide the newest information available and will update the requirements as soon as there are changes.

  • To renew your Fuel Piping Contractors License in the state of North Carolina, you are required to complete 6 hours of continuing education every year.
  • 4 hours must be on the current code related to your license. Two hours must be in a subject related to fuel piping. Continuing education hours may not be carried over to the next renewal cycle.
  • Fuel Piping Contractors License expires every year on December 31. Your continuing education must be completed prior to expiration.
  • The course provider must turn in all continuing education hours to the Board. The Board will keep an electronic file of all completed continuing education.
