North Carolina Real Estate

    We are currently developing North Carolina online real estate continuing education courses. These course will cover such topics as ethics in real estate, fair housing, and North Carolina real estate licensing laws. Here is a list of the continuing education currently under development.

  • Ethics in Real Estate - This online course covers duties to clients and customers, duties to the public, duties to REALTORS, and case studies.
  • Fair Housing - The topics included in this course reviews interference, coercion, intimidation, subpoenas, discrimination in residential real estate-related transactions, discrimination in the sale or rental of housing, and other prohibited practices
  • North Caorlina Real Estate Licensing Laws - The subject matter of this continuing education course will cover themes such as provisional staus, reciprocity agreements, real estate forms, continuing education, prelicensure, and the North Carolina Real Esate Commision.
    These are the current requirements for renewing your North Carolina Real Estate license. We will always provide the newest information available and will update the requirements as soon as there are changes.

  • To renew your Real Estate License in the state of North Carolina, you are required to complete 8 hours of continuing education every year.
  • Four of the continuing education hours must be on the Real Estate Update course approved by the Commission. The remaining fours hours must be on elective courses approved by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.
  • Your license expires every year on June 30. Continuing education courses must be complete between July 1 and June 10. Up to four elective continuing education hours may be carried over to the next renewal cycle.
  • Course providers will submit hours of completion to the Commission. Do NOT send your certificate in to the North Carolina Real Estate Commission; keep this for your personal records.
